Type: Side Return Extension and Loft Conversion.
Brief: This project, now complete, was a single storey side return extension and loft conversion to a terraced property in Oxford. The property is victorian in era and was originally set over 2 floors with a modest rear garden. At ground floor, our clients wanted to make significant alterations to the rear of the property to create an open plan kitchen / dining area. This space, while being modern in finish and feel, was to complement the existing property, providing a very light and aery room. Timber bi-fold doors open from this space onto a new patio area. In addition to these works, a full loft conversion was also carried out in order to create an additional bedroom with en-suite facilities.
Build Cost: Estimated at £95k.
Status: Completed July 2012.
