Residential Loft Conversion Commission: East Oxford, Oxford, Oxfordshire 18.

Client: Private Client.

Type: Rear Extension and Loft Conversion.

Brief: This project, now complete, was a single storey rear extension and loft conversion to a terraced property in East Oxford. The property is Victorian in era and set over 2 floors with a modest rear garden. At ground floor, our client wanted to make significant alterations to the rear of the property to create an open plan kitchen / dining area. This space, while being modern in finish and feel, was to complement the existing property, providing a light and airy room with views and access to the garden. Large patio doors open from this space onto a new decking area. In addition to these works, a full loft conversion was also to be carried out in order to create an additional bedroom.

Build Cost: Estimated at £120k.

Status: Completed July 2015.
