Residential Extension Commission: Grandpont, Oxford, Oxfordshire 3

Client: Private Client.

Type:  Side Return Extension.

Brief:  This project, now complete, was a single storey side return extension to a terraced house in Grandpont, Oxford, Oxfordshire. The existing property, dating from the 1890’s, was set over 3 floors with a dilapidated extension to the rear. Our clients wanted to increase the width of their existing kitchen / dining area by adding a contemporary side return extension to their property. The extension was to create a large open plan kitchen / living / dining area with large bi-folding doors opening onto new decking. A flush rear door detail was provided  to create a true inside / outside experience. A glass roof section was also provided to flood the centre of the existing property with natural light..

Build Cost: Estimated at £50K

Status: Completed December 2012
