Type: Rear Extension and Loft Conversion.

Brief: This project, now on site, is to be a large single storey rear extension and loft conversion to a semi-detached property in Headington, Oxford. The existing property is victorian in era and is set over 2 floors with a large rear garden. Our client wants to make significant alterations to the rear of the property to create a generous open plan kitchen / dining area. This space is to be modern in finish and feel and must complement the existing property. Large bi-folding glass doors will open onto a decked area to the rear. In addition to these works at ground floor, alterations will also be made to the loft space of the property in order to create an additional bedroom with en-suite facilities. To maximise space within the loft a large rear dormer will be added under permitted development. This dormer will be lead clad so as to minimise it's impact.

Build Cost: Estimated at £200k.
