Brief: This project, currently awaiting planning approval, is works to a small commercial unit in Cowley, Oxford. Our client wishes to install a new roller shutter door to make the existing unit functional as an MOT testing facility. In addition to planning approval for the new door, a certificate of lawful use application was also required to ensure that a B2 use class is in place on the premises. A building regulations application was also required.
Build Cost: Estimated at £5k.
Status: Building Regulations approved. Pending planning and lawful use approval.
