Brief: This project, currently on site, is to be a large single storey extension to a detached house in Wimbledon, West London. The existing period property is set over 3 floors and has a large full basement beneath the front of the ground floor. Our clients want to make significant alterations to the rear of the property to create a large, open plan family room. This space is to be modern in finish and feel and must complement the existing property. Large glass doors will open onto a newly formed patio that will match the extension is both floor finish and level, creating a seamless link between inside and out. In addition to these works at ground floor, alterations will also be made to the master bedroom above to create a new master suite with en-suite facilities and a walk in dressing area. To the front of the property a new parking area will be formed with electronic gates accessing the main road.
Build Cost: Estimated at £450k.
